     Fiestas Patrias of Austin welcomes you to our web-site to promote our 6th annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. This fiesta will take place on May 7 thru May 8, 2011 at Fiesta Gardens Park located at IH 35 and Lady Bird Lake. 
    Since 1978 Fiestas Patrias of Austin a 501 (3) c non-profit organization has served the Hispanic community by preserving and promoting our Hispanic through festivals. A culture rich in history, heritage, and traditions with deeply rooted blood lines on both sides of the Rio Grande.
     The addition of the Cinco de Mayo event along with our annual Diez y Seis de Septiembre fiesta gives our organization a festival in the spring and at the end of the summer season. These two events will allow us to continue to increase funding for youth program, scholarships, and community events such as our annual free community Thanksgiving Dinner.
